Who controls this site
LEI Price Check controls the comparison site and correction mailbox. Third-party LEI providers control their own checkout, application, document, payment and customer-support flows after you leave this site.
Information we collect
The current product can be used without creating an account. If you contact us, we may process the contact details and message content you send so we can reply and maintain provider correction records.
Hosting and security systems may process ordinary technical logs such as IP address, user agent, requested URL, referrer, time, status code and similar diagnostics needed to operate and protect the site.
Legal bases
We process contact messages to respond to your request and maintain accurate provider records. We process basic technical logs for legitimate interests in security, debugging and site reliability. Non-essential analytics or advertising cookies should only be enabled with the required consent flow.
Analytics
The site can use Plausible Analytics to collect aggregate page-hit statistics, such as page URL, referrer, device category, browser, country and visit time. Plausible is used without Google Analytics and without advertising tracking.
Analytics should remain aggregate and privacy-focused. If cookie-based analytics, remarketing or advertising tags are added later, they should be paired with appropriate consent controls before non-essential cookies are set.
Cookies
The comparison product does not require an account cookie. Essential infrastructure may use technical cookies or local storage if needed for security or delivery. Advertising, remarketing or cookie-based analytics should remain disabled until a consent banner and processor list are added.
Outbound provider links
When you click through to a provider, you leave LEI Price Check. The provider's own privacy policy, checkout terms and document-handling rules apply from that point.
Data sources
Pricing data is collected from public provider pages, public registries and configured source checks. We keep source URLs and last-checked dates to support corrections and auditing.
Retention
Correction emails and source-review notes are kept only as long as needed to answer the request, maintain data quality, resolve disputes and keep a reasonable audit trail. Technical logs are kept according to hosting and security retention settings.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict or object to processing of personal data, and to complain to a data-protection authority. We may need enough information to verify and process a request.
